Cabrini Connections has gotten together with other programs in the area to put on a back to school event for all of our youth, and any new youth who may be looking to join a program. 'Back to School - Make It Cool' will take place on Saturday, August 7th, at Roberto Clemente High School (1147 N. Western) from 10am till 2pm. Lots of games. Lots of free giveaways. Lots of fun!

Organizations in on the planning process include Union League Boys and Girls Clubs, BUILD, Cabrini Connections, Chicago Public Schools, Final Explosion, and La Casa Norte. 

The event is brought to you by Youth Ready Chicago. Mayor Daley’s Youth Ready Chicago program connects young people, ages 14 to 24, with internships, apprenticeships and jobs within Chicago’s public and private business sectors. Each opportunity offers youth hands-on experience and an opportunity to gain marketable skills, supporting a successful transition from school into the workforce.
